About Pandapad
Pandapad is a free online maths game for children aged 6 to 12. Children practise division, times tables, addition, subtraction and square roots, and with every correct answer they help Panda rescue a little panda from a trap. After every three sums a short cartoon continues the story. Pandapad runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no account, no ads and no cookies.
What do children practise?
First choose a kind of sums, then a level. All answers are whole numbers of 1 or more, so there are no negative numbers.

Division sums always come from the times tables: with "up to 5" you get sums like 35 ÷ 5 = 7 or 35 ÷ 7 = 5. After two wrong answers a tip appears, for example "7 × ? = 56".
The story
A little panda is lost in the forest. Panda sets off to find it, rescue it and take care of it. The adventure has twelve chapters of three sums each:
- Packing the backpack
- Opening the gate
- Looking for tracks
- Clearing the branches
- Rescuing the panda from the trap
- Caring for the wound
- Getting there safely
- Washing under the waterfall
- Collecting bamboo
- Fetching mountain water
- Climbing and gymnastics
- Going to sleep
After each chapter a cartoon of a few seconds plays. At the end the pandas celebrate with a golden trophy, bunting and fireworks.
Useful for parents and teachers
- Time limit (optional): enter a number of minutes. The clock only runs while a sum is waiting, not during the cartoons.
- Tips: after two wrong answers a hint appears.
- Progress saved: with "Continue" you carry on where you left off.
- Play anywhere: phone, tablet and computer; on a computer also with the keyboard.
- Safe and calm: no account, no ads, no chat, no cookies. Only the number of visitors is counted anonymously (Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies).
Who made Pandapad?
Pandapad was designed by Féline (age 9). She drew the chapters of the story, chose the yellow theme and wanted real cartoons after every sum. Together with her father the game was then built.

- Yes. On the start screen you can enter a number of minutes. The clock only runs while a sum is waiting, not during the cartoons. When time is up, a sad ending follows and you can try again.
- Is progress saved?
- Yes, on the device itself. With 'Continue' you carry on at the chapter where you were, including the time that was left.
